Lecico wins Best Website and Annual Report Awards

Lecico was honored to receive two distinguished awards on Tuesday June 19, 2007 for the Second Best Website and the Third Best Annual Report for 2006 presented by the Egyptian Institute of Directors in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Lecico Managing Director Elie Baroudi received the awards on behalf of Lecico at the ceremony at the Mena House Oberoi Hotel.

About the Awards

The Egyptian Institute of Directors, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, launched the 2006 Best Annual Report and Best Website competitions which are evaluated by an independent Jury, inviting all listed companies in Egypt to participate.

The competitions aim to promote improvements in corporate governance applications in the quality of information and disclosure in annual reports and websites in Egypt, through encouraging the publication of timely, accurate, informative, and well presented annual reports, and through promoting timely, regular updates, ease of navigability and completeness of information disclosed on websites to shareholders, creditors, employees, and others who have an interest in the performance and activities of the company.
